A Southern California resident his entire life, Chris obtained his real estate license at the age of 19 while attending California Lutheran University. Shortly before entering law school, he obtained his real estate broker’s license and opened his first real estate company with his father.
While attending Pepperdine University School of Law, Chris maintained exemplary grades while simultaneously operating his real estate brokerage. He was also a staff member for the National Association of Administrative Law Judges Journal and a fellow of the Geoffrey H. Palmer Center for Entrepreneurship & the Law. Chris graduated in 2007.
Upon graduating law school, Chris joined Carlson Law Group – one of the leading real estate broker defense firms in the State of California. As an associate, he specialized in real estate litigation, including but not limited to, the defense of real estate agents and brokers in professional negligence cases; real estate transaction disputes, and landlord-tenant matters. Additionally, he also handled transnational matters, including the drafting and review of real estate documents (purchase agreements, leases, etc.), preparation of corporate documents, and preparations of responses to complaints with the Bureau of Real Estate (formerly Department of Real Estate). Due to his experience as a real estate broker, Chris regularly assisted hundreds of real estate brokers and agents through the firm’s risk management program for two of the largest errors and omissions insurance carriers in California.
Guided by his entrepreneurial spirit, Chris opened his own practice in 2015. During this time, Chris has guided a broad spectrum of clients with their real estate and business needs. His clients have included real estate developers, real estate brokers/agents, buyers and sellers of real property, landlords and tenants, contractors, property managers, business owners, etc. Chris has represented these clients in numerous complex business, real estate and commercial litigation matters from inception through conclusion and has successfully tried, mediated and arbitrated cases on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants.
In his free time, Chris enjoys spending time with his beautiful family and close friends. He also is an avid sports fan (Dodgers, Lakers and Rams predominately) and enjoys playing golf, albeit not very well. Chris is also devotes a lot of time and effort to developing young boys and girls through youth sports as a Board Member for Simi Youth Baseball in Simi Valley, California.
