Christopher Delaplane is a Southern California native who has dedicated his career to the real estate and legal industries. He earned his real estate license at just 19 years old while attending California Lutheran University, and subsequently obtained his real estate broker's license shortly before entering Pepperdine University School of Law. He graduated with his law degree in 2007.
EXPERIENCE
After law school, Chris joined Carlson Law Group, a highly respected real estate broker defense firm in California, where he specialized in real estate litigation. His expertise included defending real estate agents and brokers in professional negligence cases, real estate transaction disputes, and landlord-tenant matters. He also drafted and reviewed real estate documents, prepared corporate documents, and responded to complaints with the Bureau of Real Estate. Due to his experience as a real estate broker, Chris provided valuable assistance to hundreds of brokers and agents through the firm's risk management program for two of the largest errors and omissions insurance carriers in California. Driven by his entrepreneurial spirit, Chris established his own practice in 2015, where he has since advised a diverse range of clients on their real estate and business needs. His clients have included real estate developers, brokers, agents, buyers and sellers, landlords and tenants, contractors, property managers, and business owners. Chris has represented these clients in numerous complex business, real estate, and commercial litigation matters, from inception through conclusion, and has successfully tried, mediated, and arbitrated cases on behalf of both plaintiffs and defendants.
